Milk House Series
During the Christmas holidays of 2002, my partner, Tim Flynn and I visited the farm in Oklahoma where I grew up. We took on the project of cleaning out the "milk house." This is a small building on the farm that actually was a milk house back in the day but through the years became a play house and then storage shed. The contents had become covered with red dust and "mud dobber" nests. For us, it represented the passing of a way of life and the remnants of childhood. We collected objects and ideas from this project and came home to create "The Milk House Series." It was a two person show inspired by the experience and incorporating many of the objects that we found.
